Here are some Pix of the awesome Red Oak bow I received months ago from Doulosparachristos (Roy). I had made myself leave it in the tube and not shoot it till I finished my recipient's trade bow. Well, that has finally happened! It felt like Christmas morning to finally get to play with this new bow! It shoots HARD!!! If my aim can hold true, (I know, BIG IF), I'm confident that no deer I hit with this will make more than a couple of steps before laying down.
She is 55# @ 26" (perfect for me!) I need to measure her dimensions yet. I was a little pre-occupied with shooting her over and over again, so I failed to take down the specifics. She’s a pyramid style with narrow tips and dark overlays. I'm not sure what the wood on the overlays is, but it is a warm brown color which makes a beautiful contrast with the blond finish of the Red Oak. She has an extra meaty leather wrapped handle and a thin black backing on most of the length of the limbs, but I'm not sure what the backing material is.
So, with no further ado, ...here's the pix!
