The first thing that I noticed about your bows was what a fine tillering job you did on all of them, very impressive and I am very hard to impress when it comes to tillering.

Sweet, all of 'em. Nice work Sir.

Very nice tillering, and I always enjoy seeing bows that are actually drawn a bit!

i was quite pleasantly surprised when she took an interest in bowmaking. in fact, im certain she's caught the bug ;) the stave she's going to town on there is a cherry longbow she's been working on for a while. should be able to post pics of the finished product sometime soon!
-
She looks like a sweetie Connor. If she keeps up the interest you've definitely got a keeper for sure. Damned if I wish I weren't young again :). Would you want to trade for anything for that little osage handle knife I saw somewhere?
-
thank you fred :) she's a keeper either way ;)
-
You have an eye for beauty that's for sure. No wonder your bows come out so well. :)
-
NICE! good tiller on all of thoose bows
-
Great job young man.
All are very nice.
Really partial to that hick, tiller sweet, impressed the way you got around that knot in upper limb and kept the arc.
You got the talent.
And one fine young lady there.
Again, great job, and God Bless...
Ron

-
My gosh you know how to tiller a bow that's for sure

thank you, toomanyknots! i wish i could tiller an ELB half as well as you, though. I have a dozen beautiful cherry staves dry and waiting, just gotta get up the nerve ;) they make gorgeous bows, and fantastic shooters, just havent had the time or guts lately. maybe im going soft ;)
