Title: Weird glass
Post by: chessieboy on September 12, 2013, 05:23:09 pm
This was a slab I had in the shop. My aunt came into town and showed some interest so I went down and pulled this peice out. I found the bubbles pretty cool. Bubbles didn't affect flaking any. My best guess is someone remelted it prior to slabbing.

Bill, did you get that slab from me possibly? I had purchased some slag glass form Carl Smith a few years back and slabbed it. I has bubbles in it just like that. Neat stuff and nice point. If I could figure out how to do pics I would post a pic of the one I made from it.

I probably did I don't know for sure. I figured the bibles were from someone remelting it but wasn't sure.
