Title: In need of your prayers(update 9-13)

I have laid off posting about this until I got all the dates and such so I could give you all a better time frame of what is happening.  I hope you understand.

When the took the MRI for my shoulder and found that I have two tares in my rotator cuff, they also found adnormal sizes and amounts of lymph nodes under my arm pit on my right side.  When that was detected, all surgeries and such was put on hold, and I was immediately sent that evening to have a CT SCAN.  The next morning, to show how fast things are progressing here, I was in the oncologist office.  They know something is wrong, but can not say how bad just yet.

I go tomorrow for a pre operation interview to get things ready for a biopsy Tuesday at 7:15 am.  They told me in the office it could be up to a four hour procedure, but will not know until tomorrow.

I will then get to see the oncologist next Monday the 16th to get the results, how bad things are and where it is, and what my treatment options MIGHT  be.  So I am once again asking for your prayers.

I will not be back on to update until the 16th or later.

It gives me cold chills to think of what you are facing. If it gets to the point where they tell you they got it all and you don't need chemo, get a second opinion. My wife and I took the "you don't need chemo" advice from a top surgeon at Vanderbilt, she died on Aug 14th, turns out he was wrong.

I just got back from having the biopsy done.  All went well, and will be sore for  a while.  Now the wait.  Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers from everyone.  I cherish each and every one on my PA family friends.

Once again I want to thank each and everyone for your prayers and thoughts.  I got my results back yesterday from my biopsy, and NO CANCER.   They are sure it is my sarcodosis that is showing up and active, but not to a point of concern just yet.  I will now wait six months and have another CT to see if the lymph nodes are changing and go from there.

I just want to say THANK YOU ALL, for you support, thoughts and prayers.  You don't know how much it means to me.

This will be the last time posting on this subject for a long time.  Now to move on to better things, archery related.
