the points from eddie came in the mail yesterday and i couldn't wait to tie them onto the cane arrows i've had waiting on them for several months. hadn't had a chance to weigh them but i'm guessing around 650 - 700gr. the shafts are made from sasa bamboo, one of my favorites because of their thick walls. this speicies of bamboo is very easy to straighten. as soon as the sinew cures i'll take them for a spin to see how they shoot. i'm finishing up an osage static i've been working on especially for our hunt the end of dec. in the case are 18 cane arrows i have in reserve. enjoy!

i live in SpringHill, about 50 miles north of tampa.
-
I was in Brookesville yesterday morning,at the limerock quarry.I live in Lakeland.
-
which quarry? there are a couple. you findin any stone? there was a guy that used to live here sometime back that had a honey hole of nice chert and some coral but he wouldnt share any of it, but he used to come back with a truck load, even when he moved to illinois (or someplace like that) he wouldnt tell anyone just incase he came back! so any stone i have found has been little and poor quality, so i am ordering from distant lands, whoe is me..lol ofocurse i havent really spent much time looking, i have checked a couple quarries and some contruction sites in likely areas- Ryan
