so i've made arrows when i was younger and my brothers and i used to flatten bigger nails and split the shaft, insert the tip, and wrap with heavy duty thread and glue. well that tiny bit of metalwork for tips led me into the world of blacksmithing, and i haven't dabbled in the arrowhead world much, but i'm definitely going to start! but my real question is this: if i made broadheads, bodkins long and short, field tips, that have cones so all you have to do is glue or rivet in place, how many people would be interested in that type of arrowheads?

you may want to post in the warbows section as well.
some of those folks will likely be interested in bodkins.

I would be!

I would suggest that you make a couple of each, and post the pictures, and see what kind of response you get for each style, or all of them, and let people see what you can do, and list the weight of them also, and what the cost would be for six or a dozen. ;) I am sure there would be a market for them on here. 8) You would probably have to post them on the trade forum though. Go for it! ;)

No market here! Only trading. ;)

i'm not trying to market just yet, i'm just curious if many people are interested in those kinds of arrowheads =]
