Very nice, a lot better than my first bows. Don't sweat the weight you'll get the hang of it. You are already way ahead of fellas that don't ever build one. Addictive, eh?

The shape looks like a good start for your first self bow. Gotta see it bow now.

Man! I want to try mulberry. That thing came out better than my first. Mine was like 5 lbs. I had a huge learning curve from my first to third. Maybe you could give me some of that mulberry ;)

Nice work, like the way the knot turned out, what is the tip overlay, ? horn?

The tips are buffalo horn. I named this bow the Mullberry Nippler
