here is a small dagger style knife i have been working on made the blade from a slab i got with my book off of eBay .it worked out nice working on a stand for it right now then it well be done .

That looks nice- did you turn the handle on a lathe?

the handle is sum kind of bamboo i found at a job site we was working at .took sum sand paper and lightly sanded it then took a small torch and lightly burnd it then sanded it Agni then did like 3 light coats of clear

You did a very nice job on the blade and the handle. I'm going to have to try your torch on bamboo technique if you don't mind.

I think ive seen boo like that before but if i remember correctly it was the roots.

thanks every one .mullet i don't mind at all .if it was not for the site and every one that post and share there Ida's and tricks on making knifes, blades and more i would not be able to make the ones i come up with so really i should be thanking all of you for the help .i have gotten from the site .and friendly people on it ..:D

thought i would add the last pic of this knife i never got to do it due to my computer crashing on me . any way this is were the knife end up gave to my dad for his birthday . he loves it i was happy with the way it ended up. and the stand was light went over with a torch and sanded 3 times till it was the way i wanted it the 2 coats of clear was added .
