Jay gave me and ancient chert arrow head so I gave him one of my first bows.it took a little more set than I like but it still shoots great. Bamboo backed elm 55#@28"-60" ttt self nocks. The handle is set back 1/2"

Tiller looks good.
Don't want to critize, but I think the elm is overpowered with the Bamboo backing. Any chrysals on it?
Use thinner slats or go for trapping.
But looking at that guy - he is happy and that counts.

Bo backed Elm, I'll be it will flat rip one.

No chrystals after 2000 or so shots, and it shoots flat as a pancake at 25 yards and very fast.elm is amazing in compression.here's another example bbe 55#@28 ,it has one small crystal on the upper limb but has shot many thousand arrows.I use small diameter bamboo ,usually 2-1/2 to 3" and the slats are about 3/16 in the middle.thank'sfor the compliment!
