Sup guys, im a little late for the point of the month.. i kept braking them.. now I'm braking folsom preform after preform trying to get the flute right.
Took a brake from the folsom preform massacre and finished last months point of the month.

Nice one, Jesse! As far as Folsoms go, I've looked at a few. And not all of them were fluted at the last stage. I've seen some that were fluted when the preform was wider and bulkier, then they shaped the point with very short, narrow pressure flakes. That way they would flute the point when there was more mass and less chance for breakage. Maybe try that, and post pics of what you come up with!!

Nice one Jesse. Glad to hear a seasoned knapper as yourself still break em once in awhile. Or am I? Dang!, guess it may never end. :(
