Here is a video I made.  The angle wasn't great but I think you get the idea.  I didn't want to take his thread over but I did this from Iowabow's video posted below.

Very cool video and will give a go and see if it works better but I rotate up onto the platform.
The drawing below illustrates the conceptual differences
