Acquired this pc of Flintriver from Eric's Rocks, took a spall off from it an came up with this Lostlake Point. I hav'nt worked to much of this material but so far I like what I'm getting. Makes a good sharp point and has enough color in it so it isn't to plain. I like it :D :D Hope you like it also. ??? Bob

purty!

That's a nice one Bob. I have to agree, that is almost my favorite rock to use. If you heat treat it, it will get a red, roasted pepper color.
-
Nice point.

Eddie , I believe it's been heat treated to 425. I know I didn't pay $4.25 or $425 :o for the rock so I am thinking that it was a temp marking on this pc of rock. It has alot of cortex on it an some roasted pepper colors in it also. Bob

Mighty fine!!

Outback thanks for posting this! I have a piece of rock that looks like a small slab of uncooked homemade bacon and now I know what it is! I would never kill a thing with your point because I would never take a shot for fear of losing it! :)

Very nice point. I really like the color of that rock too.

Purty Point there Bob ! Looking good bud. :)
-
Excellent color and point!

Great work Bob!! dp

Nice one Bob! That's good rock. If it's heated, even some of the concrete will knap well and the lighter colored (normally tough) will be slick.

Nice lookin point great color on that stone.
