this quiver is far from primitive but i made it myself. it is made from 3" pvc. i wrapped it with jute twine and added leather to the top. inside of the quiver on the bottom is some wetfoam which is used to keep the arrows in place and to reduce rattle. some leather was added to the inside at the top to also reduce rattle. the strap is from a 2quart canteen pouch and is affixed to the quiver using eye bolts. this quiver can be used as a back quiver or a hip quiver.

Looks awesome. I have a 20" cardboard tube I might try.

Go with pvc. It will last a lot longer. 3" diameter pipe 24" long. I cut mine down to 21". You can shape it however you want over a stove or whatever heat source you have availiable

I know PVC is better. Jute is awesome stuff.
Cardboard is fun though ;)
