Hey guys here are some pics of a bow I just completed for a customer, thought ya'll might like to see it. It's rawhide backed Osage, 59 inches long pulling 57 lbs at 27 inches. Painted with a Hupa Indian bow design. Normally these designs were put on the short, flat, wide paddle bows of the pacific northwest, but I stretched the design a bit and put it on this long, narrow Osage bow. I LIKE IT! I sure hope the customer likes it when he receives it next week. Anyway, thought I'd share it here with you. Hope ya like it. At 57 lbs it's a pretty stout weapon and the guy who ordered it plans on hunting with it this fall. I sure hope he slams a deer with it...that would be AWESOME. Tell me what you think!

The artwork turned out good on that sleek design. I like the colors, too.

The paint was just modern acrylic.

Nice work on that one

Looks good Billy. Nice artwork, and judging by the brace it looks like it's well tillered.
Be sure to get some pics from him when it makes dinner for him :)

Thanks guys! Unfortunately I have the bow packed up and didn't get a full draw pic. I tried to get it done a month ago but ran outta time. Then I was out of town for almost the entire month of May!! UGH!! But I got back and finally got it finished for him. He's been waiting patiently for it so I figure I best get it to him ASAP.
