Had to get to this ERC and buckthorn across the street.
Two 8" ERC logs with real straight grain and about 74" long. Split down the middle and got 4 halves. 2 debarked and 2 not yet.
Also 5 rhamnus cathartica buckthorn(http://i1311.photobucket.com/albums/s662/mdubois7/004_zps016db23e.jpg) (http://s1311.photobucket.com/user/mdubois7/media/004_zps016db23e.jpg.html)ns about 3" and real straight.

Man thats just too bad getting an ERC stave with such a straight grain. I feel sooo bad for you, that I'll let you send them to me for proper disposal >:D >:D Cant wait to see what they become!

Got the 2 on the bottom of the pic with the bark on debarked tonight before work and there should be at least 5 great long staves out of these and a couple of shorter nice ones to boot.
