Some of the guys from work had been learning how to make bows from me and Madi decided she'd like to try it. So here is what she made. She did everything on it except the finish and the abalone inlay, which I did and the artwork which my brother did. ;) It's hickory backed hickory reflex deflex, 61" ntn, 1" 1/2 wide, with lignum vitae overlays and a hemp handle. It pulls 40# at 28". I know the full draw isn't at 28" I just had her tiller it to that so the guys could shoot it too.

Very nice bow Madi. You conquered a few things with your first bow that many of us haven't after years of building wood bows. The nice stain job, the graphic design work on the back, the heart shaped inlay arrow pass and more.
Well done! 8)
