I am running out of room in my vehicle for trade stuff, but noticed some people posting FG bows. I have several old recurves right and left handed that I really have no use for anymore. Some Bears, Ben Pearsons, Shakespears, Brownings, and Damon Howatts. Is anyone interested in trading for these? I wood be interested in arrow shafts in the 45 to 55 lb range, some flint heads and knives, sinew, rawhide, tanned deer skin, etc.

Hey Kenny, maybe we can work out something, eh?
-
I'm sure Mullet will chime in soon. He likes Bears.

Anything in the 35#-40# left handed?I have some of everything your looking for.
-
The lowest weight I have is a bear that is 42#. It says 45# on the riser, but when I was replacing the strike plate it had 42 under it which I hear is the more accurate. I have not put it on the scale. Are you going to be at the Classic?
-
I will be there.
-
I will have it with me to trade. Look me up. I will have to stay in the Comfort Inn this year, but I'm sure I will be mostly hanging out where all the bow making is.
-
wouldn't happen to have a 1958 or 59 Grizzly in the Bears would ya?
-
I have no idea how to date them. I started collecting them in the 90's and wound up with about 25 or so. I never shoot them any more since I make my own, now. I have 3 or 4 grizzlies and a super grizzly, I think. I think they are all newer than that, though.
-
kenny, they would be 62" and either a gray glass or a pale or pea green.
-
Kenny; I'll be at the Comfort Inn, Thursday. I'm interested ;D any Kodiaks?
-
I think I have one or two, but can't remember if they are LH or RH. You need RH, right?
-
You got anything in the 60-65# range?
-
I have a LH Damon Howatt zebrawood recurve at 65 lbs.
-
Yes sir, right handed. SS if that DH is 65#, guarantee it will feel like 75#.
Kenny, I can help you date them.
-
Thanks, Eddie. I am going to bring as many as I can. I will be in a pickup and have a friend I talked into coming with me so some of this stuff is going to have to ride in the bed. I gotta figure out a way to transport it and the staves without scratching them up.
-
I need a powerful bow that is heavy enough to shoot 1/4th pound arrows.
What you want in trade? I have some short elm staves, and some elm log sections about 6-7 inches by 32 inches with the bark on.
