That is beautiful, a real work of art. Great job on it.
-
Wow Soy that is some super fine work there. Very unique and attractive bow, a guy just couldn't walk into the local archery
"pro-shop" and buy a bow like that now could he. ;D
-
Oh I guess it's Ok:) ;)
-
I am not overly satisfied with the tiller however I have shanded through the finish too many times and don't care to mess it up as it shoots really awesome so I guess it is what it is ;) so if you guys wish to retract the kind words you have said previously I understand Lol

I do have more pictures but they reveal the name of the recipient so I will unvail them at a later date...OK its a later date with the new owner down under

It's very nice Soy. Tiller does look a little bit flat about 5 or 6 inches below your hand though. But hey if it shoots good then be happy.
-
yeah I was trying to keep it a little more elliptical and ended up with that little flat spot which didn't reveal itself to me until the pictures ...Darn cameras
-
OOooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

-
That is one bad mammy jammy, for sure!! ;)
-
Too cool right there! Looks deadly.
-
Yup pictures don't lie. Lot's of times when tillering, I'll take pictures and pop them into the PC and look at them. Seems like you can see way more looking at the pictures. But that bow is still very sweet.
-
great bow,, I would be afraid to pick that bow up,,too snakey
-
Wow love that bow!!! That is exactly the kind of bow I want!
-
Oh my, that is beautiful!!!
-
wow...its sure a beauty and a pretty good use for copperheads!
-
Crazy good. Looks like it could snake away if ya set it down.
-
Really cool bow wish I could get my hands on some snakey Osage
-
So Sweet,love that character!finish work looks awesome!-Hammertime
-
That's just beautiful! Love the skins!
-
Soy, that is a beautiful bow. I refrain from judging your tiller by those two pics. I think cameras can help when the picture is taken with the lens equal distance to the tips and the plane of the lens perfectly parallel to the bow. If not, camera angles can play tricks. Snakey limbs make judging tiller from a canted angle even more difficult. So based on those pics, cant say much about your tiller. but based on those other photos, I can say that is one of the sexiest, snakiest looking snake bows I have ever seen. 8) 8) Nice work. And that handle inlay work...nice touch! 8)
-
Thanks a bunch guys ;D
-
That is an absolutely amazing bow. It looks almost to real to handle.
Grady
-
I was starting to wonder if you would ever finish this one! I reckon it was worth the wait. She sure is purty! Those are the coolest copperheads I've ever seen. The cocobolo sure compliments them nicely! Well done! Josh
-
Thanks... I was beginning to believe that I would not get this one finished :P
-
There's just something about the beauty of snakey bows!
-
Soy, I'm new to all this and not a Bowyer by any definition of the word. I gotta say this though, that is one of the best looking bows I have ever had the pleasure of looking at. I won't even begin to give tiller advice or judge it, but if that beauty shoots and does what a bow is supposed to do then I would have to call it good. No.... great is the word. I don't believe its recipient will have any complaints.
Excellent job turning some snakey Osage into an amazing bow! Somebody gonna be happy, happy, happy!!!
-
thats a beauty, it looks like a real snake :)
-
Very nicely done. The inlay made me smile...and has given me ideas for all the 'junk' small scrap i've got....
Yes hard to judge tiller from those photos. Where it's taken set should tell you the whole story but i'm sure you know that anyway!
Very very nice bow. I'd be proud to own that.
-
She has little to no set so far after about 350 shots but I stand on the fact the tiller is not perfect...

wicked looking bow!
-
Beautiful bow,I love snaky ones.Tiller can always look a little funny on them really snaky ones, you try and get them bending to much in the real snaky areas it can sometime lead to trouble, that's a beauty for sure and the finish/tips and skins
are exceptional.Very well done. :) Looks flat as a pancake to me that tells me it should be fine ,nice. :) :)
Pappy
-
Wow very nice bow Soy.
-
Soy, you did that snakey osage some justice! Love everything about it. Skins, artwork, osage. Good on ya!
-
That is a beautiful bow Soy!!! Someone is going to be very happy.
-
That is another sweet bow ya got there Sir Soy.
-
Wow!! That turned out GREAT! that's BOM material right there ;)
-
What a head turner. I woud carry that with a grin on my face.
-
Soy, it looks to me from the unbraced profile and the 350 arras that the tiller may not be as off as you thought. I see what you meant on the bottom limb but your flatter than a pancake for sure. Absolutley beautiful job. Skins, tips and handle inlay eat are first class. Great job on it and congrats in advance to the lucky stiff that gets that one. Its a keeper. Danny
-
That is one sweet bow...in the one photo I honestly thought it was a snake for a second lol

I keep coming back for another look at this one. Just awesome! You sure you're not twinoaks? Maybe honorary member or some such as that? It would look right at home hanging on the bow rack in Pappy's bow shed. Nicely done man! Josh

-
Incredible job on that crooked stick! I love all the little details you put into that bow. Very inspiring to see people take it to the next level.
I've got my first ever set of copperhead skins headed my way and hope that I can find a stave that has character like yours. Definitely one of the most stunning snake skins out there. You done GOOD, son!
Scott
