Draw knife and a bowie style knife made from mild steel. I needed a draw knife so I went to home depot and picked up a piece of mild steel. The D/K is about 8" long, and it works great not overly agressive or sharp, been made from mild steel.
The knife I decided to do a cut-out in the handle for a small compartment.

Bow 101 I agree 5 bucks is 5 bucks and if you can put it to use and build it yourself it's good as gold. Great job.

Hey, I make these things all the time. IMO, high carbon is just a selling point compared to work hardened steel;)
I love mild steel. Doesn't break on me like HC does.

Nice I like those.

where the heck did you here that? you can't work harden steel, mild steel doesn't hold a candle to high carbon tool or spring steel for edge holding ability. oh ya nice knives bow101
