Title: Buckthorn Shorty Tiller
Post by: TacticalFate on April 16, 2013, 11:46:24 pm: ah, here we go again, Buckthorn, 51" ntn, not weighed yet, feels like round 35# at 24", but I really care more about the tiller on this one than the weight. Handle wrap is cherry bark. Any comments are welcome!

Still a noob with tiller, though I am learning.

Post by: TacticalFate on April 17, 2013, 12:30:50 am: Cool, thanks! This is my 6th bow, and the first that I've been happy with. My first took 4" of set, my second crysaled badly due to uneven limb thickness, my third was a monstrous wobbly takedown (ew), and my fourth was the sister stave to this one, wasn't happy with the tiller. Fifth was another piece of buckthorn with 15 large thorn-knots on the back, that went out to 22" before failing (really surprised it got that far), and finally made this one!

The little twist at the left tip shows you know how to go with flow. :)
