Nice simple stick Thad...I like using that creamsicle changing ring as a back sometimes
-
A simple bow with beautiful tiller. Nicely done. 8)

Great job Thad. You can't go wrong with a D style bow. Thank you for entering this beauty in March BOM ;)

Very nice. I too like the simple ones. Good work.

I think the bit of sapwood makes it a little fancy. Nice bow for sure.

Push comes to shove in times of trouble its bows like that we'll be making to make meat. No frills, just a stick and a string with good tiller. Nice job. Danny
-
I like that one. It's always hard for me to stop at simple, but I always admire when someone else does. Tiller is perfect!

Nice tiller and seems like a good bow for hunting in the brush. I also like how you utilized that curve in the wood and made it closer to center shot. :)
-
Nothing like the simplicity of a D bow beautiful weapon. I too am about to begin a Osage D bow
-
Nice bend on that one. Love the sapwood!

Well done - I like the simple bows - especially when they are tillered like that one!

Kinda like better than two in the bush, I'd say!
Speaking of which, a little birdy told me this bow is a quick little shooter.

Go back and look at the last pic Soybeans posted of the detail with the string in it. Those colors are the three colors you find on a kestrel. Kestrels are small, light, lightening fast, and good little predators in close quarters.
I am deeply honored to receive this bow. I really look forward to being able to carry it in the woods where it will be a swift predator.

That is an awesome pic!!!!hope it serves you well, here is another picture of that beautiful bird

-
Must have missed this one earlier. Looks great!

As I was pulling the bow back I heard/felt a tick. I checked the bow very carefully by rubbing a cottonball lightly over the back. Nothing snagged so I thought everything was just fine.
I pulled it back a few shorter draws to warm it up further before going to full draw. Just a half inch before full draw I got a huge POP.
Bow is just fine, but the shoulder is sore. >:(
-
man you had me going there >:(
-
I love the full draw pic.
