Title: I got a stick for my birthday

Yep been working with the trees now of 5 years so thought I would put some numbers into the books.
I have been doing timber stand improvement for the past couple of months.
Annette and I have bought ground with the following trees:
Walnut
Shingle oaks
Red oaks
Black oaks
White oaks
Hackberry
Cottenwood
Cherry
Osage
Elm
Maple
Iron wood

Cedars
And maybe a few others.
I am just now getting to the point that I can identify them in the winter with the bark and bud.
We made maple syurp this weekend from the maple trees and that was real fun.
