ok . what exactly is the drop swing? does have anything to do with the billet used?

Thanx Pappy!!! Yes dropswing is holding the stone freehand and I use a short maybe 4in moose billet and kinda swing down with my other hand...it detaches long wide flakes. Im still kinda green using this method but its unique and a challenge..I think Im keeping this method.
