I don't feel like building nada or even going into the shop to look at wood. :(
-
Phase's we all go through them. Do what makes you happy

..   Couch potato syndrome, do nada, do nada
-
I just got over a "do nada" period of almost a year. Find something else you enjoy doing and come back to bow building later.

It's good to take a break once in a while. Haven't touched a stave in 6 months. Built a forge and a few knives. Fished a bunch. Start renovating my bathroom Saturday. Was haveing a beer in the shop the other day with a freind and over his shoulder all I could see was a hickory stave that looked like a Molly.
Thanks Leroy

I don't usually have that problem. I live in a small apartment, and I do all my work at the in-laws woodshop. So I only get to do real bow work on Sundays when we visit.

You've got to find more hobbies to take up more of your time so when you do get bow time you'll want to get in your shop.
Thats the way it is for me. I never get board with makeing bows this way.

When I first started hitting slumps with my bow making is when I learned how to make arrows. They are harder than bows to get them right.
-
How much wood you got? Give it all away and you'll feel like building again. ;)

If you overcommit yourself to making people bows it'll keep your fire lit. Seems I work best when I'm inspired to make something for someone. Gives me th edrive I need to press through. But thats just me. I'm sure in due season you'll get your urge back. Danny
