Hey Yall. I'm new to the forum, been making knives for some time. Thought I would share some of my work.
-
I'm gonna go out on a limb here...but these aren't the first half dozen or so that you have made are they?
I like #2 and #6 bestest.
-
i would be proud to carry any one of those.nice work.

naw jw, I'm on about number 32, I think. Some are just assembled from bought blade. Most of the damascus ones I've made. #6 is from high carbon from a 150 yr old saw blade. It's become an addiction. Lol. Working on a big ole damascus blade and hippo ivory handle. Bout half done. I'll post up when I get it closer. 8)

The old fashioned spade blade that is deeply weathered combined with the freeform modern handle is aesthetically interesting.
Knowing that it is old steel makes it much more interesting. Something about old tools, like they have experience that helps you when you use them!
Thanks for sharing.
