This was my frist real try with a moose billet to make a point. I've use a large ones to spall with. White tail pressure flaker. Started the notches with Antler but had to switch to copper.(http://i1068.photobucket.com/albums/u455/Tris_Smith/knapping/2E17C502-6F64-45E3-81F4-0060BA964A10-5087-000008772863BC5C_zps37719fad.jpg)(http://i1068.photobucket.com/albums/u455/Tris_Smith/knapping/F7EEDB65-12EB-4C30-BC86-D4F5A7D36422-5087-000008772079717A_zps6bebac93.jpg). I guess I'll call it the Storm point of 2013.

Thanks. I got almost all step Fractures when driveing long flakes. I need better support and more speed I think to get them to Feather out. I was happy just not to break it.

Russ you nailed it. And I need all the help I can get lol! Hey Ken and I are supposed to take a hike at Letchworth and do some back woods knapping can't wait so he can set me strait on some Of his techniques. Also I got into that big piece of keokuk from Craig. Hammer stone really had me pissed was getting a lot of crushed platforms until I got mad and really smacked it and walla clean flakes.
