I was playing around with some soapstone and a graver made from Texas Rootbeer. I did cheat on the first three and used a broken piece of hacksaw blade to cut the slot. I came up with these. Mostly deer leg bones.

The hooks are from deer toe bones.

The sense of accomplishment you would get by catching a fish with one of those hooks would be worth all the rice in China.

These are very nice! I made some hooks like the toe bones ones, but never got the chance to try them out! Satisfying making these, has to be a real thrill to catch a fish with one.

Very nice work,love the hooks also.I made some needles a while back ,gave most of them away.I need to get back at it and make somemore,that for the reminder,that's what I need,another project. :)

Nice work I make a lot of bone stuff myself. Made some nice earrings for the wife out of deer needle bones.
