hi all i made this bow over the last 2 days it is from a yew branch that i had. i split it and spliced the 2 together, it is my first real attempt at a stave bow rather than boards. i am pretty pleased how its turned out. the tiller was messing with my eyes and i ended up abit underweight. the tips are walnut and i put a small walnut riser to bulk the handle out abit and strengthen the splice.
the bow is 64" TTT and 40# @27"

I hate it when folks post a yew bow cus it makes me wanna go make another one cus its butter to work n gives my osage muscles a break, smooth as silk to pull, sweet upon release, and one of the most beyewtiful bow woods...thanks...now I'm gonna have to go make my small stash even smaller
Looks good to me

cheers for the nice comments everyone, lol blackhawk your right about the smooth as silk.and it is light as a feather too. i just need some lighter arrows to shoot through it now mine are all abit to heavy for this bow. :)
