Here is a bow I finished for a Christmas present for a young man at church. It is 64" ntn draws 49# at 28". It is 1.5" wide at the fades and tapers to 1/2" nocks at the last 10". I backed it with some dog bone rawhide that worked pretty well even though it was a tad thick on one end, I just put the thick ends at the handle and the thin ends at the nocks. It took about 1.5" of set but shoots very well. The nocks and the riser are White Oak and the handle wrap are some leather from an old coat I had.

Very nice, I like the look of the back on that bow! If you ever want to shoot sometime let me know, I'm stationed at Little Rock AFB. Again, great job on that bow!

Looks like a very nice bow and tillered well. I'm sure he will be ecstatic. Looks like you knap heads as well from the arrow?

The arrow head is a steel trade point.
