My brother brought back some koa wood from his trip to Hawaii...He had some lams made for a future bow, so I thought I would make him a knife to go with the bow...the handle and blade are both bone and the wood base and handle end are koa.

Really cool! Normally, I've seen bases used just to display an item, but your base is a piece of art in and of itself! It really complements the knife. I'm sure he'll love it!

Great looking knife. I really like the color contrast between the Koa wood and the bone. :)
