Title: Bow Circle, part deux???

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone had any interest in starting up a bow circle, kind of like the one that was started on here a few years ago with many of the veterans from this site. I thought it'd be interesting to get something going and pass it around amongst a few guys to let them put their touch on a stave and then see how all of their different styles and skills would mesh to form a wonderful Frankenbow. Just let me know if there's some interest to get one started and I'll start taking some names here, making a list and get down some general guidelines to get it started. I figure nothing will get started until after the 1st of the year, maybe by the end of January if we have enough guys interested. Thanks.

Ok we got 4 so far. Let's keep rolling. I'll send out PM's about it after the first so we got plenty of time. I'm thinking of setting up some guidelines just to keep it moving. That's one thing most of the guys from the original bow circle mentioned is that its been 6 years and they're still going. I was thinking maybe setting up a timeline of 3 months or 6 months to finish whatever part you're working on and then move it on to the next party. But it doesn't matter to me, I'm in no hurry so whatever is fine with me. I'm just interested in the experience however long it takes.

I know what you're saying Pappy. But I guess worst case scenario we make some new friends and have something to laugh about whenever we look back like you all from the original circle haha.

JackCrafty showed some interest on the other thread so we could be up to 5 possibly. What do we think is a good number to cut if off for one circle and to let another one start up?
