Has anyone used bloodwood for there bow? I have a nice looking board laying around the house and was thinking of giving it a try. Would like to hear your opinion on this.

Quite. Few bows have been made with bloodwood cores. I just picked up a really straight grained piece for some cores. It's dense and oily, so I rub it down with alcohol a few times before glue up.
