Title: BBH lots of pics!

Hi Guys,

after a pretty long time i got some Bows done. Here is one of them:

Its a Bamboo backed Hickory bow, i shot about 300 arrows with ist sofar.
Handle is Plum (Prunus domestica), Tipp overlays are Apple.
She mesures 146,5 cm ntn (little less than 58")
With at the fades is 3,8 mm tipps are under 7 mm
She weighs 390 gramms (0,8598 lb) and pulls 48#@28"
I finished it with Shellac and linseed öl varnish
Gave her a 10 strand fastflight string

She doesn't suck ;) and shoots an arrow pretty fast i guess.

Very nice. I like everthing about it. Hope to get my hickory staves bending that nice.

Tha'ts about as good as it gets.

Im not usually a fan of glue ups but you've got a winner there!

 :o i haven't said how awesome this bow is yet! if this is only a beginner bow then you have me beat by a mile and a half! Nice bow! Where did you get the bamboo?

Thanks a lot Guys!  I am so happy with this bow.

It came out realy nice although i hat a slight problem with it. It came out so short because i had to cut of about 4" or so after first time bracing it. One of the tipps was bending away sideways
I still have a lot of motivation for experimenting with other wood an other dimensions, thickness, of the Boo. The Bamboo ist as thin as can be on this bow.

Thats UHU Endfest 300.  ;) I guess you dont know this product under this name. It's a 2 components epoxid gleu with enough time to work before it starts to harden, think ist 90 minutes. It takes 24 hours to harden at room tempreture

I bought the bamboo in a Bowshop thats near my place.
