Here she is the sister bow to the trade bow built this year. The trade bow turned out so well I had to make one for myself.
59" NTN 70#@26" A 4" long handle, 1 1/8 at the handle, out to 1 5/8 and tappering to 5/8 at the tips. Osage, one layer of sinew, rattlesnake skin, beaver tail handle, bison horn on the tips.
Bend through handle somewhat of a D shape. She"s a real screamer and will probable pick up some more speed as she ages. To Primitive Archer, this forum and you all. Thanks for all you do ;)

Oh man, that one raises the bar yet another notch in here! Some fantastic finish work over excellent tillering skills, very nice.

Thats a looker there Knapper. Very nice work and no doubt a great shooting bow to boot, tiller looks flawless for that bow to my eyes.
Nice job all around. :)

If you ask me that looks like a killer design. 70 lbs with that length and width/tiller must be very fast, plus the benifits of the sinew. I wouldn't even care about the finish on this one, i think you nailed the bendy-handle design. Do you have a chrono? i bet that's hella fast!
Very great bow!
-
Thanks all!! No I dont have a crono but yes its fast >:D Heres another look.
-
Excellent workmanship!
-
Awesome job on the tiller! 1 sweet bend ;) real looker all around
-
That's cool, on the one tip i didn't really even notice the little wiggle since it's eliminated once it's drawn. Again, awesome!
-
Nice job, Knapper! Really nice bend on that one, for sure!! :)
-
Wow--my dream bow.

Excellent tiller and very nice bow Knapper. I see allot of similarities to the one you built for me on the trade. Still love shooting it and it's great to see you venturing on with the first scenarios that you did on the one you made for me. I liked the feel of the grip so well that I aquired some beaver tails and made my first beaver tail grip several weeks ago. Well done Keenan

Gorgeous bow.

I think you got a winner on your hands.
I like how the skin stops a bit shy of the tip on only one limb.
