Title: Tillering post

He all,,im a newbie on the forum and also new to bow making. I found alot of useful info on this site and also how to you tube videos. But now i am at the most important part (tillering) and want to make a tillering post the right way. Anybody know of a good video or plans to properly build one? Thanks in advance

mine is simple. In my garage, i located a wall with a post on it. Screwed in a small block for the handle of the bow.

Went down to install a screw eye and pulley. Takes 10 minutes.

What do you mean by a tillering post? A rope and pulley system is what i suggest. Stand back and pull. Watch the tiller. Is that what you want? There is a picture of one on my site. Here and other places. I can give more of a description it you want. Jawge
