My new job has me traveling all over OK and TX and I'm taking my flintknapping tools wherever I head to use on gas station stops, down time, etc. Whenever my wife is with me and sees me picking up rocks she gives me the "don't you dare put that in the trunk of the car and take it home" look.
I went to the booming metropolis of Brady, TX and met a young intern at one of my chapters I oversee. After spending some time with him and his boss I figured out he liked the outdoors and broke out the flintknapping tools. This young guy went to town. Here's his first attempt at anything and came up with a pretty sharp "skinner". After a 2 hour session he pulled this point out of his flake. I love flintknapping but I love sharing it almost more.

Hey Goose are you the guy that sat on my tarp a few years back at OJAM? Pretty sure you made a knife that day out of some Kay County. Mike Smyth
