Has anyone ever used bamboo spinning fiber for backing a bow? I saw this while looking for flax fiber to use for backing and it intrigued me. It is described as feeling similar to silk and we all know how strong silk and bamboo is for backing so naturally I wondered how it would be as a backing.

Here is what I have found. It looks promising, I may buy some to give it a try it looks cheap enough.

Give it a try, why not?
I would use it sparingly.
