Title: Need some arrows for a 75lb bow - CLOSED
Post by: H Rhodes on October 23, 2012, 09:52:20 am
I need them at least 28" but would prefer 30" length.  I am not picky about shaft material, wood or  aluminum  would be okay.   I have staves (white oak, winged elm),  sinew,  and bows to trade.

Howard, if ya dont get what ya want.....let me know and I'll turn ya some 3/8" hardwood shafts. Can make some from birch, ash, oak, beech, or whatever we got up here abouts.....dont own a spine tester but I could send enough so there would have to be some "heavies" in there some place.

I am turning out some very strong shafts right now. For 70 lb bow, I have Sitka spruce in 23/64...400gr. and spines from 70- 80 lbs, also maple at 11/32...550 gr, spines 60-70 lbs,  and teak 23/64 500 gr. spines 65-70 lbs...very strong and looks great as well.
