Well I haven't been on here in a while because I've been getting ready for a huge move. I'm packing up my family and moving to Scotland. Haven't had time to do anything PA related other than give a bunch of primo Osage and hick to my brother along with a bunch of shaft material and a ton of rock. He did make me some super nice hunting points though.
We're gonna be moving to Buckie, Scotland and we'll try to be there by the first of the year. I'll still be on here though. There still such a thing as bow wood in the highlands, and not to far south of where I'll be, near Peterhead, they have real flint so il be making my way down there.
I've been super busy trying to decide what to store here what to take and what to garage sale and give away.
Just thought I'd try and let y'all know.

Good luck with that move ! I would love to visit that place someday.
I moved to Alaska in 2002. Big move.Took stuff up there that I did not un-pack for the eight years I was there, moved back down here in 2009 and it's sitting in my shop right now, still packed. There's a lesson in there, but it evades me. ' Frank

My son spent two weeks there last year and thought it was grand. Beautiful scenery and friendly folks. He said he saw lots of game. Not sure what exists for bowhunting opportunities. Best of everything to you and your family.

Being a fan of Scotch whisky and utterly comfortable in a kilt, I have to say I am envious of you. And for that matter, I kind of enjoy a plate of haggis from time to time as long as they have meeps and tatties on the side.
But I can't stand for ruining a good walk on the moor chasing a silly ball down a gopher hole!
Enjoy the time there and post some pictures!

No bow hunting (http://bowhuntscotland.elrig.net/) in Scotland I'm afraid, or anywhere in the UK for that matter
