Heres a bow i made for ......... ::)
This will soon show up at someones door. All i can say is i started with 4 1/4"+ of reflex and ended up with a hair shy of 3" resting reflex....helluva piece of wood. 20.2 ounces mass weight. It has some prop twist as you will see. The stave had a natural setback handle and deflexed working limbs,and all i had to do was flip the tips to finish off the gull wing profile. The early draw weight is insane crazy and spits an arrow very quick. Hope so an so enjoys it 8)

Sweet work Blackhawk, love the setback handle.

That looks like a sweet shooter. Those tiny tips make that spider look like a jungle spider.

Somebody is gonna be lucky to get that one! I am a little late getting in on this thread, but I have to say I love that bow. Great work Blackhawk.
-
Sweet bow, and one lucky guy that ends up with it!
-
Great bow, Blackhawk. If it won't give away too much info, what is the width of the limbs?
-
Thanks guys... ;)
Dave its a fat 1 5/8" wide at the fades till midlimb,then tapers to just under 3/8" tips. Its that wide cus the last ten inches is static and so the working limb needs to go a lil wider than for a normal flatbow,and because of the reflex I started with.

Beautiful well made shooter there.Gotta love the staves that require only a little heat bending of the tips as far as heat to the wood goes.Very little set for the length also.Is it being pulled to 28"?
