Been doing a little knapping since the heat wave finally passed. Hornstone and translucent obsidian (?) Thanks for looking!

Looking good to me Tracy! I'm gonna have to make a hornestone run and get a tune up :).
-
Some good looking points. How does that hornstone knap?

Thanks again guys! Funny thing Paul, I just got some TX chert(beige/grey) and love the sharpness and toughness of it, but I got to hit it a lot harder than the hornstone. Tower, the hornstone is pretty smooth to work.

I agree about that TX rock. I am almost too "yellow wristed" (someone used that term before :P) for that rock. It sure is pretty though!!! Gotta do another run myself Paul >:D
