Title: mystery rock

I finally made something out of that mystery rock that I had picked up. I was going for a thebes, but messed up the base so I chnged to an elko dart. Seems like a really tough piece of rock and super sharp! Just wish I knew what kinda rock it is.

those are some cool colors and a great looking point Scott! Depending on where you picked it up i'd say it's some really nice burlington..

Luck stone-stone you find in a creek that has great color and knaps well!    Great looking point too boot.

Thanks guys, I love the color in this rock also. Reminds me of a campfire.

"luck stone" - I like that, John. I've heard alot of different opinions on what it might be. I'm pretty sure it ain't burlington. Other than that, I've got no idea. I guess it doesn't really matter cause I only saw the one piece.
