Title: Yucca Fibers & Stuff
Post by: stone-over on June 10, 2012, 05:34:59 pm
I've got a few bundles of yucca fiber. Despite having lived around yuccas for most of my life, I've never really utilized it. These fibers are really strong. One leaf worth of fiber easily supports 70+ pounds.

I've also got:

A couple yucca stalk sections that would be suitable for quivers. Some weird hardwoods for overlays or whatnot, some flute-sized pieces (elderberry, bamboo, cedar), Some nice shoots (willow, alder, some sort of cane, and olivewood), ground california walnut husk for primitive stain, beads (glass, bone, wood), dried organic stuffs (lavender, mint, rosemary, pink peppercorn) and a couple staves (elderberry, 2 kinds of eucalyptus, california sycamore)

I could use some sinew, feathers, staves, weird stuff, thick leather scraps, well pretty much anything.

What kind of hardwood do you have and I might be interested in a stalk of yucca.

I'd be interested in that elderberry stave for unprocessed leg sinew (I have deer and elk).  Got any pics to show?

Sorry for the delay in getting pics up. I tried to post some last night, but I was unsuccessful. I'll get some up tonight.
