Good tutorial. Have been catching up on some of your videos this weekend. Nice to see folks making and appreciating the smaller and more useful point types. You do a good job on them. Always been some of my favorites. I believe it takes as much skill, if not more, to make them. It isn't easy thinning a small flake. Do you ever chip any drilling/woodworking/hide scraping tools?

Dan, nope, I haven't made any chipped tools for drilling and such.  I usually just pick up a flake that is the right size and shape and use that.

I've had a couple other guys ask me to do videos on making axes, drills, and other tools...so I guess I'll have to make some soon. ;D

Well made video, Patrick. Can't help but enjoy hearing the martins and sparrow cussin each othr in the background. If I didnt know better I would say you were sittin in front of my garage.

I think I need to make a steel notcher. Too many of you guys are showing me that it works as well as copper. Then maybe I wouldnt have to reshape the flaker quite so often.

Stringman, there's a sparrow's nest right above me.  Yesterday I had a caterpillar drop into my lap... probly escaped a horrific fate.
