Title: 2012 Idaho Bear Hunt....It's on!

It's on!  Malcolm Parker, Bud Kent, Joe Walsh (not of the eagles) and myself are getting on the plane for Idaho momentarily....watch out bears! ;D ;D

It was great meeting you at the Classic...you were already pumped about your bear hunt then, how are you going to stay in your seat on the plane?

Having been called upon to skin bears for my job for educational purposes and knowing that they look an awful lot like people I do not think I could ever eat bear.  Black bears filled the ceremonial niche here in California after the Griz were wiped out. Makes two reasons why I would not eat bear. Good luck in your hunts - may the bears death be swift and painless.

Where at in Idaho?  I live here just east of Boise.  Good luck,  should have not problem getting one killed here in Idaho.

Shoot a mountain lion, and a couple wolves while you are here too. >:D   Good luck

Dave how did the hunt go. I was hoping to hear some stories from my buddies in Mississppi. Show some pictures and let us know how you are. You didn't feed Bud to the bears did you? ;D

I talked to Bud Kent after the trio got back. Few bears were sighted, Malcolm grazed a couple, Bud and Dave didn't see any. Bud said it was a fun trip, beautiful scenery and great company.
