Post by: Newindian on April 29, 2012, 11:15:07 pm
Got a liitle green juniper bow sitting over the pot right now ( 30# is my gess)  have nothing els to do so i decided i would learn to steam recurves. Probably 1 inch square cross section where I'm bending it I sould let it sit for about 25-35 minuets right.

For dry heat I was taught to let it sit until it it's cool and then leave it for a few hours, just to make sure it doesn't pop back into place
Haven't even tried steaming though, what you did could have very well been perfect for steaming, I wouldn't know
