Nice bow soy boy. I like the blend of skins and............skins. Good tiller on a nasty azz stave! I dont care for black grips, so if you could replace that before ya' ship it up to me I would really appreciate it. I should have stated that on my Bow Swap order form I filled out, my mistake :)
-
Very nice---a snake/carp bow---"Snarp...." we need new bowyer terms....maybe a new thread????
JH referred to my little limb fishtail joint combo of surviving pieces of failed bows of Hickory and Osage as a "hicksage" bow----of course a insightful reference to blinding flashes of superior rural wisdom.
Very nice work..thanks for both the warning and sharing..nice way to start another day... ;D
-
Soy you done Good! That came out exceptionally nice, Very nice detail work. I know someone is going to be pleased
-
WOW very nice work!! Really like how the limbs come of the handle at different planes, that can make tillering tricky but you did a very good job!
Josh

I couldn't help myself Soy. I had to look. Man that finish came out sweet! The mail man is lucky that I already got a fine trade bow. Otherwise I would be stalking him to see if this bow was coming my way. I had a hard time handing it back to you before it was finished, I don't believe I would let go of it now! Josh
-
Thanks again doc for the help along the way as you know it was really close to being fire wood ;)

Soy-----Forgive me---But:
Or maby carp + snake= cake
A soy cake? Open the tent flap.....yikes ::)

Wow. Gorgeous. This is the type of stuff that inspires me.
-
Soy beautiful workmanship. Love the skins. I can't understand why you've always got the spot right under the bow weight covered up in each photo. Could my name be under there?
-
Yeah Knapper and he has such a creative way to cover the name each time, right? No tape or Photoshop for Soy just pure creativity!
And I know all you other guys are going to be jealous but I think that's my name under there ;)
-

Now look at watcha done Soy! Everything that walks, slithers, swims or flies is gonna get stuck together on a bow! This oughtta be interesting to see what gets done next. Maybe batwing backed with woodpecker lip tips or .................... or maybe.................. or.................. The possibilities are endless. Man! I got a headache. Later, Josh
