I had the itch after Georges get together. So I tried a little therapeutic knapping. This paleo style was knapped from some rootbeer I had. In the percussion stages I found a hole in the stone. I've always wanted to make a point with a hole in it. The symmetry is not perfect but to even it out I would have lost the hole. The base was hard as a rock & I had some problems thinning it out. Hope y'all like it. Tower

I'm glad you didn't mess it up, would probably be pretty easy to snap the tip off with a hole like that. Very cool point. :)

Alot of the rock I have been finding around here has wholes in it and have made a go at doing that but it did not last long. Attemted one that had a half inch hole in it but nope I broke it.. Very nice point..
