well first bow cracked yesterday. Lower limb think it was because of it's somewhat high crown in that area, hung it up on the wall braced now. oh well i guess. :-\

Congratulations. ;) Breaking your first bow is a great achievement. I hope you get to break more in you bow making future because as Jawge will inevitably point out:
"if you aint breaking, you aint making."
I know it sucks, but use the 'suckage' to fuel more bow making!

If you are serious about making wood bows you have to reconcile yourself to breaking some of them - there is no getting around it.

Is it broke through or just cracked? My first hhb cracked, i put thread and super glue over it and have shot a bunch of arras through it ...dont tap tell things go dark >:D

it cracked pretty deep through that part of the limb i think it's goose is cooked. oh well i have the other half of the sapling
