Worked some glass tonight. Really like this point. Hit my desired weight just right. (Luck, pure luck). And got to try the new notchers.

The smaller one weighs in at 120.

The bigger point was harder because it was a piece of mirror. That glass is REALLY clear until you get a lot of flake scars on it.

I have about six TV's in my outer room and I break one when I run out of rock... I wish I had a way to melt the chips down and color them to work on...

I have thought about the same thing with all the beer bottles I see along the side of the road. But it would take a serious kiln or forge to do it.

If you just want to color them for working on have a marker, crayon or a wax pen and color it every couple passes. If you're after colored glass that's a little more complicated. :P

Not worried so much about the color or clearness. I just see all those bottles and wish I could convert them into a lot of stuff to practice on.
I am saving them for the bottoms, but I hate to throw away all the rest.
